One important El Camino prerequisite we took care of yesterday was the credential. I've included a photo of mine here and a photo of the process if getting it.
Also, starting today we hike 300 kilometers from here to Santiago de Compestela following a blaze shaped Luke a scallop shell, similar to the one in the third photo. Sometimes on sidewalks, sometimes high on buildings, sometimes drawn, and sometimes just yellow arrows, it marks the way.
We are off!
