We are touring Leon today and are at lunch now at the square by the Leon cathedral after getting our credentials at the main albergue earlier. Cost was 6 euros each. The credential let's you use the albergues along the way, if you want to stay there of course since they vary in quality, to express it kindly.
Below are photos of Judy and Prudence at lunch on the square where the Leon Cathedral is located, and a photo of the cathedral too.
Lunch itself was a nice omelets and small salad, with a fair beer, that hit the spot. Later we toured the Cathedral Cloisters, which were unremarkable as cloisters go.
We completed the day watching a game that looked like bowling with hemispherical "balls" that you used to knock down pins, then going thru the Parador on San Marcos Square and buying our dinner of ham, cheese, tomatoes and bread at the local mercado.
Looks like everyone is happy. And the weather looks great!
